So this is your first meet and all you brought was your athlete? Check the list out below to make sure you have everything you need to make the day, the whole day, enjoyable! We supply two to three tents for the athletes. Smaller athletes should be accompanied by their parents.
- Lay out your uniform and sweats the night before.
- Pack your bag the night before with your spikes, shoes, sunscreen and extra layers of clothing to handle the weather (check with coaches at practice to replace spikes).
- Bring an umbrella for the sun/rain and sunscreen.
- Folding or stadium chairs (for you and your parents).
- Blankets/sheets to relax on under the tent.
- Eat a good breakfast (Checkout the articles on this page about what to eat before, during and after a meet).
- Bring a cooler with lots of water and energy boosting snacks for your athlete (bananas, grapes, sandwich wraps, light foods) Also bring food for yourself (concessions can be costly). Bring enough food and water for the whole day.
- Always get the meet line-up (meet line-ups will be posted on this web site) and arrive at least 1.5 hours before your event starts. Most meets go on a rolling schedule, so be prepared to stay all day!
- Don't let your athlete swim or do any activities that takes their leg strength.
- Please make sure you read the article regarding what to eat before, during and after a meet to get your fridge together for your star athlete.
- Award process: All awards will be collected by club administration and distributed at practice. Please contact Coaching or Admin staff if you have any questions.
